Senator Louis Patrick Hill, accused by Senator Jn Baptist of being the Senator blocking repeal of Act 6905 in the Virgin Islands Senate has been very busy. While not making materially false statements
to the FCC concerning his allegation that Roger W. Morgan was attempting to overthrow the government of the Virgin Islands by allowing people to voice their complaints about the Virgin Islands Senate.
And while he's not accusing Roger Morgan of introducing racially charged material onto the airwaves, while he himself makes routine racist commentary. And while he's not voting himself a pay hike, the
full measure of which is secret and undisclosed, and while he's not making his own retirement packed with benefits . . . he seems to spend a great deal of time thinking of ways to deflect attention
away from the obvious outrageousness of pretending that Mr. Paul Golden from New Jersey is somehow a casino, hotel, and convention center developer. Read the latest transcript from CSTED where Hill

We get a special kick out of Golden's claim that he made 130 trips here last year for the project, and in the next breath that he was here twice a month (24 times). As said twice on the radio now, the public portion of the public / private partnership is a bond float which in and of itself is more than enough to build a convention center, casino, and hotel... up to $41,000,000 has been authorized. Golden has no ability to raise cash unless the VI government guarantees it. Nobody will ever lend him money without that. So what's the scam? |
For starters, Golden has already claimed to have sunk in excess of $20,000,000 into the project, and the Senators are chirping in and agreeing that he has already sunk that in. They're calling it "risk money". In other words, he's already been given credit for paying into the project more than $20,000,000. The claim in fact is that he spent $22,000,000 already. That just happens to be more than it cost to build the Divi 200 room hotel and casino in 2000, and Golden hasn't even broken ground. Then he has his loan that we are liable for if and when he defaults on it. There's another $15,000,000. So the way the scam is shaping up, if he actually spends that money on the project, he's already up to $37,000,000 in paid in capital without spending a dime or risking a penny, or moving a grain of sand from the Estate Hartmann property. Its all from the land of make believe.
Another clue is that Golden claims the project has a carrying cost of $150,000 per month. One might imagine that if they are allowed to do any construction at all, this is where they will pretend his money is coming from, by skyjacking the "carrying cost". The magic "carrying cost". If this just sits on ice for the whole year, the claim goes that he's sunk in an additional $1.8 million for doing nothing. The more we gum up the project with protest, the more equity in the partnership he's paid up on. And of course, the best part is that he cannot ever get a final funding package because the delays keep changing the amount of the loan he needs. This genius actually claimed a $30,000,000 cost increase between October, when he supposedly had funding lined up, and December, which of course, is why he didn't have the cash. That's a 30m/95m X 100 = 31.6% cost increase in 2 months. Annualized, that's a 190% inflation rate.
It may well be that he plans to default... pay millions to the Senate, we eat the guarantee, and the project disappears, but the public portion bond float is more than enough cash to build the entire project... so maybe they WILL build it. But in that case we have to figure out why they are letting him claim to own so much equity. Is it just what they're getting back from him, or do they themselves hold equity in Golden Resorts and Golden Gaming through Dominican shell companies? Either way, the new Governor is digging a deep hole for himself as Senator Ottley claims that Dejong has vetted Golden on the one hand, and the Governor claims to have heard about the Buchanan Ingersoll letter but has not read it on the other hand. This is the kind of irresponsibility that cannot be dismissed as circumstances beyond his control, such as the attack on his wife during the election because she was employed by an alleged pedophile billionaire. This time his responsibilities are clear, and his culpability irrefutable.

Hap Clark Speaks Out Against Racist Incitement by Virgin Island Senators
He fought against racism for thirty years in the United States, but at a recent meeting with CSTED staff in attendance, noted that in the past it was always white discrimination against people of color.
But that hasn't stopped Hap from contacting the Southern Poverty Law Center when racist tirades flooded the floor of the U. S. Virgin Island's Legislature without a single elected official speaking out

Hate Crimes Inspired by Virgin Islands Senate Under FBI
Investigation
Hate speech in the U. S. Virgin Islands Senate by Senators Juan Figueroa-Serville, Ronald Russell, and Louis Patrick Hill have finally had their intended affect as a spate of hate crimes swept the
territory over the weekend. One radio talk show host, criticized for allowing people to voice their anger at the Virgin Islands Senate, was told he was "going to be butchered". The Mitchell Larsen
Studio, which sells art in Christiansted and paid for a radio commercial featuring the Senate speech of Senator Ronald Russell, was terrorized by spray paint with the words "K.K.K. Go Home" written
across their door. The FBI spent 3 hours with Stefan Larsen and the V. I. Police Dept. has also received a formal complaint.

Governor John Dejong Makes 15 Minute Appearance on "Free Speech"
Governor John Dejong took the hot seat today on Paradise 93.5 FM's program "Free Speech", becoming the first government official to brave questions on Act 6905 since the 26th Legislature approved of
the law and public outrage led to a recall effort. Claiming he could not lower the
Legislature's salary, he defended the right of the people to speak freely on the radio, but refused to criticize the Senators attacking the radio station, all but one of whom are also Democrats. He
supported his desire to keep the $600,000,000 bond float for GRS in order to give him financial flexibility, and
neither condemned nor fully approved of the Golden Gaming bridge loan, fashioning it as a "standby" loan. He made no comment on the character of Mr. Golden, nor the appropriateness of the government
engaging in contracts with the unexperienced convicted felon that the Governor described as a "developer". He was not questioned on his appointment of former Senator Pedro Encarnacion as St. Croix
Administrator, who along with the 5 Senator's now attempting to shut down Paradise 93.5 FM, and who were the targets of the first recall petition drive, voted for Act 6905. The Governor stated that
if he had been asked, he would not have signed the recall petition.
Dejong claimed he has never read the Buchanan Ingersoll letter, released to the public by The Johnny Cake Files, which ignited the scandal revolving
around Paul Golden, but understands people's concerns. He also stated that the Casino Control Commission had properly vetted Mr. Golden (despite that fact that they concealed the letter from the public).
When asked how he felt about the Ku Klux Klan comments made by the Senators, and their attempts to racially divide the island, the Governor said that we are all one people and that he also suffered from vicious attacks
while campaigning for the Governor's office, a possible allusion to personal attacks made by activist Michael Springer. Though evasive, the Governor's long overdue 15 minute appearance was welcomed.

Call for Affidavits
Anyone who was told by any official of the Board of Election that their signature on the recall petition would not count unless they voted in the 2006 General Election is urgently requested to sign an
affidavit describing the event for submission to District Court. Also, anyone who was intimidated while collecting petition signatures, or told under threat not to sign the petitions, please let us
know as we may also take action in this area. Stories abound that Juan Figueroa-Serville's mother was involved in several incidents of petition intimidation. Also his father. Also Senator Russell.

Paul Golden's Mother Wins Lawsuit: Jury Says Golden Embezzled Nearly $700,000 From His Own Mother
Several times in the testimony, he confessed that he had lied in court while under oath. He pretended to be the owner of Roughrider Steakhouse. His mother was. He was arrested on a Nevada warrant for
stealing $33,000 from Caesar's Casino. He fought the extradition, and defaulted on his
$50,000 bail. He had not one, but two felony burglary convictions. He operated a nude strip club in Monmouth County NJ, but operating illegally in a residential area, drugs, and prostitution led
township officials to draft an ordinance which banned public nudity. Golden claimed in court that the statute violated strip club's freedom of speech and expression. In June of 2000, Golden
said that the 12 complaints filed against his nude dance club could "subject me to many years in jail." But that didn't stop the VI Legislature from granting Golden a $15,000,000 bridge loan. More

Racist Senators Incite Hatred in the U. S. Virgin Islands
In an attempt to divide the close-knit St. Croix community by ethnicity and place of origin, as well as intimidate those Virgin Islanders that the Senators consider to be "white" and immigrants
from the US mainland from speaking out against corruption and incompetence. . . Five senators of the Virgin Islands Legislature have attempted to deflect public outrage at their actions with
respect
to Act
6905 by accusing the popular radio talk show host Roger W. Morgan at Paradise 93.5 FM of being a member of the "Ku Klux Klan", as well as describing hundreds of callers to the talk show as "Ku Klux Klan
cronies and puppets". Senator Juan Figueroa-Serville claimed that "his people", implying people of color, were being brainwashed by lies, and that Roger Morgan and those giving voice to their complaints
on the show "Free Speech" didn't "want to see a black man make a lot of money", and that Figueroa-Serville and his people were going to "eat steak and lobster" just like the rich "Ku Klux Klan" people
behind the recall
effort to remove the senators for reason of incompetence, corruption, and lack of judgement. Figueroa-Serville's inflammatory accusations were blatant, if not obvious fabrications, whose singular
design was to demonize anyone in the community who spoke freely about the government. His attempt to incite racial hatred and inflame the community as such constitute a felony hate crime of
staggering proportions which pierce the heart of his legislative immunity. He damaged hundreds of his fellow citizens who were merely exercising their Constitutional rights to speak openly and freely
without fear of retribution. Elected to represent all of the people, he chose instead to attempt to divide the people against each other when their unity threatened his own financial enrichment. The
senators may believe
they are not liable for slander and felony hate speech because they carefully used the occasion of the confirmation hearings for Governor John Dejong's cabinet appointees to make the outrageous
accusations. You be the judge.
The Revised Organic Act of 1954, which serves as the constitution of the territory, states in section 1572 paragraph (d):

Senator Figueroa-Serville, along with Senators Russell, James, Jn Baptist, and Hill have filed actions with the FCC in an attempt to shut down the radio station and silence people in the territory who are upset at the senator's actions. Their statements to the FCC included accusations that Roger W. Morgan was trying to "overthrow the government" of the Virgin Islands, which Senator Jn Baptist later described they reason because a recall of 4 Senators from St. Croix would shut down government! The FCC complaints were sent on the official Legislative letterhead of Senator Ronald Russell. It has been suggested that making a materially false statement to a Federal agency is a felony. Figueroa-Serville employs his immediate family as his senatorial staff, at a cost to the public of an estimated $150,000 per year. He voted to raise his own salary to $93,000 per year from $65,000, making his senatorial cohorts and him among the highest paid legislators in the nation, despite the territory having a per capita income $10,000 lower than the poorest state of the union, and more than 35% of its children living below the poverty level. Territorial senators only need to serve a few years in the senate to reap full retirement benefits, and Figueroa-Serville, should he remain in office, could net more than $4,000,000 in additional salary and retirement annuities from the legislation. The same Senators also voted to make the Governor's salary $150,000 per year from $80,000. Only 108,000 people live in the territory. The esteemed Senator Figueroa-Serville also stated during official legislative testimony that he was "not going to be punked" and that he "came from superior breeding stock". Juan Figueroa-Serville earned a High School Diploma and worked as a Sales Associate for FOOTACTION, USA before becoming a US Territorial Senator.
The President of the 26th Legislature, Lorraine Berry, who introduced the bill for Senate approval, stands to net over $1,000,000 in additional retirement pay-outs from ACT 6905 if she lives to the average age of 79. Emergency Medical personnel and police were informed they would have to work an additional 5 years to retire, would pay more money into the retirement fund, and would receive less money upon retirement than before to help the Senator's pay for their huge salary and retirement increases. Many believe the emergency personnel were targeted because of an earlier recall petition effort they made to remove former Gov. Turnbull, and Senator David A. Jones, who championed Paul Golden in the legislature. Retaliation and intimidation are widespread in the US territory. Paul Golden, labeled a "casino developer" by the government, received a $15,000,000 bridge loan from Figueroa-Serville et al, and is actually the former owner of a nude strip club which was shut down in New Jersey on account of lewd actions by its employees, has never owned, operated, nor constructed a casino, hotel, or convention center, and had a warrant for his arrest issued for stealing $33,000 from Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas. He was also convicted of felony burglary twice, and is being sued for the embezzlement of $1,3000,000 by his mother, grand-mother, and father. An unsubstantiated rumor is that Golden and Figueroa-Serville are now enjoying steak and lobster for both breakfast and dinner nearly every day.
